Hello,
my son studies in an engineer french school and will have to use CREO for his projects.
He needs to buy a laptop for using CREO and we want to realize a real test of this laptop with existing files.
We have planned to :
- get files from students of 2nd and 3rd year for testing
- install Creo as a trial version on my laptop (that has very good capabilities - graphical card & memory)
If test is valid, we will buy same configuration.
During this testing procedure we face the following problem, a display message : "the file XXX.asm4 has been created with CREO Parametric Academic Edition and is not compatible with C P Trial Edition".
My question is the following : is there a way to realize this test and open files created with academic version of the software with a Trial version installed on the computer?
Thanks for you quick reply
Best Regards
Hi,
you can install Student version of Creo.
See https://www.ptc.com/en/academic-program/academic-products/free-software page.
To install Creo 6.0, you can use following Product codes:
K-12 students can use Product code BE600908EDSTUDENTEDK12
University students can use Product code BK600908EDSTUDENTEDUNI
Dear Martin,
It works fine.
Thanks for your help
