For years now I've used nVidia gaming cards to run Pro on my home machine
with excellent results. Licensed from the server via VPN, it has always ran
better than the workstation I was using when on site. A notebook computer
is becoming more necessary & I want to look at all possible solutions.
Is anyone running Pro (WF4.0) successfully with a ATI Radeon (gaming)
chipset, mobile or not?
At one time ATI gaming chipsets were not the greatest at OpenGL but I figure
by now they must have worked out whatever bugs they once had.
Some of our tooling guys run Inventor with ATI gaming chipsets. Autodesk
basically gave it to us for free with a Acad upgrade & the tooling guys
wanted a 3D tool & it seems to have worked out well.
