New Problem in recent weeks.

New Problem in recent weeks.

Used to be that you could edit the definition of any component in an assembly, no matter what level of the assembly you had activated. In recent weeks we have noticed that sometimes we can only edit definition of parts in sub-assemblies while the main assembly is active,... and worse yet, sometimes not at all. Select a part, right click for Edit Definition, and nothing happens. No errors, no messages... nothing. Any thoughts? Did a setting in config.pro get messed up?

Two things come to mind. 1. If you are a PDM system, is the file locked (read only)? 2. Did the model get set to read only under the edit menu? Eric

Neither of those applies. No PDM. Seems to work just fine again if I close everything down and restart Pro-E. It's acting like a memory issue, but this is by far NOT the largest thing I have worked on.
