Is it possible they have a newer build?  PTC's latest build they released is M100 but I don't know if they release the student version of the same build at the same time.

Hi,

locate config.pro file in Creo installation, open it in Wordpad and add following option at the end. Then test Creo.

graphics win32_gdi

Hi,

1.]

config.pro you edited is not the right one.

Please edit this file C:\Program Files\Creo 3.0\M070\Common Files\text\config.pro

2.]

Access denied error message means that you do not have Administrator rights and therefore you cannot save the file.

Suggestion:

> launch Wordpad as Administrator

> open C:\Program Files\Creo 3.0\M070\Common Files\text\config.pro

> edit config.pro and save it

Or even try starting Creo with any config.pro.  It might be related to something in there.

I meant try starting Creo without any config.pro

What is your Start in Folder set to in the shortcut?

Is the config.pro file or folder set to read-only?

OR you can add -g:win32_gdi in shortcut of Creo as:

Select Creo Shortcut > Right Click > Properties > Place cursor in target > Move cursor to end > Add a space followed by -g:win32_gdi. (e.g. "C:\Program files\Creo 3.0\Parametric\bin\parametric.exe" -g:win32_gdi)
