PV Adapter for SolidWorks 2010 HPGL 32 Bit only?
Hello All,
We are trying to installthe PV adapter for SolidWorks on our Windchill 9.1 staging server. We have been told that the adapter can only be installed on a 32 bit machine if we want to publish using HPGL. It seems the hangup is finding a generic 64 bit generic HPGL driver.
The other alternative is to install on a external visualization server, but we are running into roadblocks on how to setup and communicate to the exteranl server.
Any help?
Windchill 9.1 M060 (in test / staging)
Pro/Engineer Wildfire 3.0
SolidWorks 2010
Thanks so much in advance! Kathy

Hi kathy,
What's the OS for the Windchill server ? One possibillty that can be thought of is to install a 32 bit vmware on the server machine haveing supported platform for the adaptor.
Please check the platform compatibility for adaptor here [Page 2/13] :http://www.ptc.com/WCMS/files/124988/en/CEV_Adapters_13_0_F000-20-May-gjj-1.pdf
