We are using dual monitors here and all is well in Wildfire 2.0 M170
We use the config.pro option OPEN_WINDOW_MAXIMIZEDYES , and
THERMO_POSITION_HINTNO_WINDOW_OVERLAP
This uses the entire 1st monitor for the Proe graphics window & all the pop up windows open in the second monitor "right along the left edge of the screen" hence nothing in your proe graphics window gets covered up and it is very easy to work with.
In testing of Wildfire 4.0 M050 this is not the case. Proe opens Maximized taking up the entire 1st monitor, but all the pop up windows also open in the 1st monitor "right along theright edge of the screen !" hence covering up the proe model and all the toolbars along the right edge of the screen !and it is very Hard to work with.
Have others experienced this ? Is there a way to get wildfire 4.0 to position the windows in the second monitor as it did in wildfire 2.0 ?
I have talked to PTC tech support, and well the person I talked seemed to be more of a software person whodoesn't use proe on a daily basis, and therfore didn't see this as a big deal !the response hegave was
"this is the intended function" and well I guess somehow that is supposed to make me like it ?
Well it doesn't !
Anyone out there have a solution ?
