Problems with m080 download?

I'm having some issue with the download of m080. Anyone else have this issue?

When I unzip it, I get this error.

By the way, so far, I used Chrome, IE 9.0, and Mozilla to do the download.

You should only extract the top level of the ZIP. Anything below the top level should not be extracted. CAB files are compressed repositories used by the Installer.

I downloaded on 10/28 with Firefox and unpacked with WinRAR without issue.

It appears I'm not the only one having problems getting a good download. PTC suggested trying WinRAR. Which I did, and received the same error.

Checksum error in E:\virtual_box_P_drive\Creo 2.0-m080\Creo 2.0-m080 software\ptcsh0\ptc309.cab. The file is corrupt.

Turns out that even though the last time I installed the software I got no errors, it didn't install xtop down in the load point.
<load point=">\Creo 2.0\Common Files\M070\x86e_win64\obj\xtop.exe

Hense the reason it wouldn't start up.

I went ahead and ordered physical media.

I just downloaded via HTTP IE 9 WIN 7 64BIT. All files extracted and the install went flawlessly.

Hummm. I guess even though we have one of fastest computer on the planet, our network connection to the outside isn't all it could be.

I downloaded via HTTP as well from Chrome on Win7 64 and extracted with 7zip and had no problems.

I didn't use the "extract" command, I opened the zip in 7zip and dragged the contents into the Windows Explorer folder.

All,

I agree with Joanna, we have never had a problem using Winzip.

We have seen issues with unzipping files using Windows Explorer. Not all of
the files will be unzipped and you wouldn't know it.

it was fine

Go figure!

Can't download M080 w/ IE9 and Download Manager. Get error message. Gave up and ordered media.

I got the same thing. When you download it you have the option of download manager or HTTPS. I HTTPS and it was fine.

So it appears after all my frustration with m080 downloads and ordering the media and getting it ready to roll out, I have to now wait for m090.
