Purge not used symbols on drawing

In order to help engineers to improve their work on drawing and symbols, it would be good to implement functionality like AutoCad has:

- With one click AutoCad can identify not used symbols in drawings and remove it, which saves time for engineer that is new in project/company and has to work on drawings from older revisions.

Currently ProEngineer provides two ways:

- Pick Inst

- Name

Which are not efficient. Engineer requires knowledge about later project, to be able to identify useless symbols. That means waste of time on investigation and together with employee rotation, bigger cost.

You got my vote!

Currently our workaround is a Pro/TOOLKIT application, which cleans up the symbols.

And in Pro/TOOLKIT it's complicated too.

since we already have a ModelCHECk setting 'ERASED_VIEWS' which removes erased views in ModelUpdate Mode, a new setting 'ERASED_Symbols' or ..._notes could also do the trick, i'd suggest.

But if this is about unused but still displayed symbols, there would be artificial intelligence needed to identify them!?
