Hi Carl,

This happens when you have a failure in the OS service pack installation,
when it happens, probably the OS itself deinstall part of the SP, so you
need to reinstall it.

I do recomend you to consider to format the workstation once for all cause
fixing the problem can be more painfull that fixing it.
