We have a few utilities we run in Windchill PDMLink that allow are Role or group to run the utility with Windchill Org admin access. In this way, we allow them to do an action without giving the users themselves the ability to run the action.
Now we have a utility we would like our Creo users to run. The issue we face is that the creo assemblies use models from other product lines that one Creo user does not have access to check out/check in. As a result it would take a "super user" to run the utility as the end item level or many users at lower sub-assemblies.
We would like to use the same kind of work around and have the utility pass on access to Org admin to run and check out the models and check them back in.
Any idea if this is possible in Creo?
