Running ProE on a Pentium D 820 ( Dual Core), any Faster?

Running ProE on a Pentium D 820 ( Dual Core), any Faster?

I will soon be getting a Dell workstation powered by a Pentium D 820 dual core CPU. Will it run ProE any faster than a single core CPU running at the same clock rate (2.8GHZ)? Are there any special ProE or Win XP settings which I need to make to get the best performance from the dual CPUs?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You may get something out of this article.

There are no special settings required from the Windows side of things to my knowledge.
