Interestingly, it appears that that there is no time stamp for saving, BUT there is an automatic one for retrievals. Sure seems like both operations should contain timestamps in the trail file, but saving does not.
As a workaround for right now, I've changed our save mapkey so that it executes a timestamp immediately before saving. That way, at least when users complain about saving issues, I can at least look at the trail file, and see when the final save was.
