When I start a new project I create a folder structure that separates my design control (DC) models and drawings from other background models. I then create a working assembly that I use to include a multitude of Simp-Reps so I don't overload my PC's resources. The problem I'm running into is when I correct the layers of other engineer's models to meet corp std practice Creo saves the "other" models in my DC folder. Back in the day Pro/E used to properly save models back to their originating folder. Not so much with Creo.
Does Creo have a new config.pro setting to control how/where models are saved?
Regards,
Dave
More info for my question: I've been using the following options for many years...
override_store_back no
save_object_in_current no
Hi,
suggestion: test your problem on simple testing assembly (two part, one from DC, second from "other").
Question: How is file_open_default_folder option set in your config.pro ?
