Saving table with drawing filename

I'm trying to create a mapkey that would save a table as a text file using the same name as the drawing instead of requiring the user to type in a name.  Any ideas?

Hi,

the basic problem is ... how to get drawing name. Please publish the picture of title of your drawing window.

You can create AutoIT script which gets drawing name from the title and put it into Windows clipboard. You can then paste the name into dialog box during table saving.

Note: AutoIT script can be launched via mapkey.

To my knowledge, copy and paste do not work in mapkeys.

I'll try better explanation 🙂

1.] AutoIT script can extract drawing name from window title and put it into Windows clipboard

2.] It is possible to run AutoIT script via Creo mapkey

3.] When table is saved following dialog is displayed. User can activate File Name field and press CTRL+C to enter drawing name extracted by AutoIT script.
