Spurge 3.1 and Windows7

Anyone using Spurge (Spekan Purge) 3.1 on Windows7 and seeing oddball
results? One guy here has found a lot of non-Pro/E files (music, excel,
SolidWorks) with a .1 extension after running Spurge on his local drive
and selecting to purge into subfolders and rename all files to *.1.

Anyone else see that before?

Doug,

I've seen this happen to one user when he accidently selected the C:\ drive to purge using 32 bit XP. The utility ended up adding the .1 to all his files, even the system files. Needless to say, his computer would not start after that. He ended up having to get it re-imaged. Hopefully the your user in question did not do the same. Not pretty. You do have to be pretty specific telling the Spurge utility where to purge.
