Summary: Window switching...

Ok I've learned that several people have had this issue. Original post
below.

-the fool proof way is to use the Window dropdown to select your new window
as this switches and activates at the same time.

-if you'd rather use the taskbar: you may notice upon clicking on the new
window that the window changes but the mouse pointer changes to a circle
with a cross, in this case CNTRL-A or Window/Activate will work. you may
also notice the taskbar button for the window of choice has depressed but
the original window is still shown. In this case CNTRL-A will finish the
switching and will activate the target window...however, Window/Activate
does not seem to do the same.
