URGENT: Intralink - Can't Check In

At about 3:00 yesterday afternoon, suddenly our users began having problems checking objects into our Commonspace. When they try to check in, the Intralink client crashes. It seems that smaller objects can be checked in, but larger ones cannot. We have tried restarting Intralink to no avail. We have checked our table spaces (23-36%) and disk space (75% of 160 GB), neither of which seem to indicate a problem. To our knowledge, nothing has changed in terms of our configuration and we have been running smoothly on Intralink 3.2 datecode 2003200 for almost 2 years with Pro/E 2001 datecode 2004290.

One thing we noticed is that a new update for the Java Virtual Machine was made available yesterday and was automatically downloaded on several workstations. We are investigating now whether that may be the culprit.

Has anyone else experienced a similar issue?

URGENT: Intralink - Can't Check In

Update: Turns out it's a known issue with number of relationships in Commonspace exceeding 16 million in Intralink 3.2. Tech Support sent some Oracle scripts that compress the tables and remove any old, unused columns. In Intralink 3.3 and 3.4, the limit is 200 BILLION, so it shouldn't be a problem once we upgrade.
