WF3 and WF5 on same machine

I'm pretty sure I've seen this question and I'm also pretty sure that it
works but I want to be sure.

Can be run both WF3 and WF5 from same machine on a server license?
We intend to run both for a while as a transition to 5. (Of course without
saving in WF5)

Thank you!

As long as you install WF3 and WF5 in different directories, they can run on
the same machine. Make sure the license server has the most up-to-date
license file, though.

Zack

Luke,

All the Pro/ENGINEER licenses are downward compatible which
means a person having a license for
Wildfire 5.0 can work with WF4, WF3, WF2, WF and 2001, but one at a time.

In your case, if you have 2 license of Pro/ENGINEER available
then you can launch WF5 and WF2 simultaneously else you have to launch one
after another.

~Ash..

In addition to it,

If one has locked license of Pro/ENGINEER then one can launch any number of sessions of Pro/ENGINEER irrespective of releases.

Yes.. Borrowed License acts as locked license and any number of sessions can be launched.

But if WF3.0 is borrowed then only WF3.0 sessions can be launched.
