WF3 drawing shaded view in Windchill publishedfiles

So is the issue that drawing views are showing up shaded on published
drawings?

If that's the case, most likely the views on the drawings were not
specifically set to use No Hidden, or Hidden lines, so they take
whatever the environment is set to, which out of the box is Shaded.

What you should do is use a config.pro file on your cad worker and set
the display to no hidden as a default.

Shaded views created on a drawing published to a .plt do not appear at all. Reason for publishing to .plt file is to allow markups. Solution is to manually change any shaded view to anything else. We experimented with publishing the drawings to pdf format, but the method the publisher uses to create a pdf vs creating a pdf from a .ps file are two different things. When printing to a postscript the pcf files allow way more flexibility in controlling numerouts plot settings.

Previously with Intralink-WF3 we printed .ps files andused adobe distiller to automatically create pdfs and store in a library outside of intralink. Worked great, now were finding with publishing from pdmlink there are many issues we never would have imagined.
