WF3 vs. WF2

Terrence,

I am using both WF3 (M110) and WF2 (M270) on a Dell M90 laptop (Precision
Workstation) using Win XP Pro x64. Both editions of Pro-E Wildfire are
64-bit, and I do not experience problems crashing.

Assuming it is not a Pro-E date code issue, I have solved these problems is
the past by one or more of the following:

. Re-installing with anti-virus software turned off.

. Used Windows XP Check Disk to repair cross-linked files.

. Used Windows Defrag to solve file fragmentation problems.

I noticed if Pro-E files are fragmented, it can cause performance issues. It
is also possible that Spyware is an issue and is consuming windows system
resources. I use both Spybot Search & Destroy to remove spyware, and
Ad-Aware to remove adware. Another useful tool is CCleaner
