Wildfire 2 license Check Out

ProE System Admins:

One of the new advancements of Wildfire 2.0 is the ability to check out a
license to use away from your network. Does anybody know whether it
leaves the total headcount of your server in tact, or does it decrease the
headcount during the specified check out period?

For example, if I have 10 floating licenses of Pro/ENGINEER on my server,
and I want to check one out to work from home - so I specify a 12 hour
check-out period, does the server now show only 9 licenses available for
other users, or does it still show 10 - even though I have one checked
out?

Please advise.

Hi Michael,

When a user borrows a license for a specified period of time...the
license will be shown as checked out from the license server for that
period of time. If you check out a license and run PTCstatus, you will
see what I am referring to. Once the borrowed license has expired, the
license will be available automatically on the server again.
