does ProEngineer Wildfiree 4 runs on Windows 8?

I'd say yes. Recently I tested WF4 M220 x64 on Win8 x64 and it installed and ran without problems. Just so you know, PTC supports Win8 only with Creo 2.0, any earlier version of Creo or ProE is not officialy supported.
