It sounds like your laptop is not equipped to run PROE very well. I have done this before & experienced performance issues. I am guessing 1.4GB of RAM. Intel graphics card is not so great. Sounds like a basic graphics card. Have you run any previous version of PROE on it? I have a laptop that I run PROE on & I have 3G RAM & NVIDIA graphics card with RAM on it also. It runs it very well. You could probably upgrade your RAM but it is probably your graphics card that would make the most difference.

Is it running slow when modeling, loading assemblies or startup? How much ram do you have? What graphics card are you using?

It's slow when I'm modeling. My ram is 140 GB and an Intel graphic card.

2G should be fine. Its probably the standard graphics card you have, but have you run PROE on this laptop before?
