Will Creo 7 work on a Radeon Pro WX 2100?

I am using Creo Parametric Release 7.0 and Datecode7.0.4.0

Does Creo 7.0.4.0 work with an AMD Radeon Pro WX 2100 video card. The machine has 64 GB of system ram. Intel Xeon Silver 4110 CPU@ 2.10 GHz (2 processors).

It is not listed as supported hardware (according to AMD ISV data) so you would be on your own with regard to support for GPU related items. Try it out before you spend money on either HW or SW.

It did install and when I opened the small test part it worked fine.  I'm not saying it will handle large assemblies or complex files, but it did install and operate with a small test file.

I have found over the years that most CAD programs will run on any graphics card. The issues come with regeneration, where it is done by the CPU instead of the GPU, resolution of the display, sometimes circles view as ovals, and in the number of files that can be opened simultaneously, about half as many as with a certified card, but even that may vary.

Hi @JMack ,

You may refer the list of supported and certified hardware at https://support.ptc.com/partners/hardware/current/support.htm

I hope this will help.

Thanks.
