check_interference_of_matches

I have the option check_interference_of_matches set to NO in my config.pro. I think it has something to do with component interfaces but I'm not sure. It's in area of my config that looks like I added but I don't remember if I did or why.

Any idea of what it does?

Yes, it's used with Component Interfaces to ensure that you do not assemble components (usually hardware and fasteners) into locations that would cause unwanted interference. The downside to the option is that you forget you have it set to yes, and think there's a problem with the software when it won't allow you to assemble components with interfaces to locations that can't accept them.
