Xtop.exe is not a valid win32 application
There are separate 32 bit and 64 bit versions of xtop.exe in two different folders. Either one can be installed on either type of machine, but the 64 bit version won't actually run on a 32 bit system. Are you sure you installed the 32 bit version?
i believe in creo 2.0 it automatically takes the 64 or 32 bit version .
Rohit,
what did you do on your PC ? Uninstall/install Creo.
Martin Hanak
i installed creo Martin.
and i get the above message when i try to launch it after installation.
its on windows 7
Rohit,
you can try to copy xtop.exe from another computer, where Creo is running.

does it make a difference if i copy from a windows xp system to a windows 7 system?
Windows XP is 32-bit operating system. If you look into Creo 2.0 installation directory, then you will find 32-bit "Creo2_LOADPOINT\Creo 2.0\Common Files\M070\i486_nt\obj\xtop.exe" file, only. 64-bit "Creo2_LOADPOINT\Creo 2.0\Common Files\M070\x86e_win64\obj\xtop.exe" is not present.
If you have Windows 7 32-bit, then you can copy xtop.exe from Windows XP.
If you have Windows 7 64bit, then you are out of luck.

Thank you very much Martin.
I would give your suggestion a try.
