Subject [proecad] - RE:generation Clock
OK, everybody suggested the config option [CLOCK] [YES] Thanks for all the replies but that?s no quite what I was looking for. Apparently in SW it works very much like turning echo ON in DOS (I?ve not seen it myself), and it gives you quite a bit of detail (at least how long) about each part as it goes by. I also go a reply from my local Pro/E rep. The functionality does not exist in Pro. Enhancement request? He suggested using geom. check. Thanks for all the replies! Martin T. FWIW - In my (limited) experience with SW, I've never seen such a clock. It just sits there and chugs away. It doesn't even give the 'regenerating feature 5 or 467' info like Pro|E does in WF. As I said, my SW experience is limited so maybe I didn't have it turned on or wasn't paying attention or something. Doug Schaefer

He's (the rep) just doesn't know. While there may be no functionality now, there was a spin (a long time ago) where the sweep hand of the clock left behind colored ghosts every time a part finished regeneration. Or maybe it was when each started, same difference.
That was at least 10-12 years ago and I only saw it on one spin. I always thought it was something the developers used but disabled in published spins, it some how being left in one time.
