We are about to order some new workstations. We currently use Dell Precision 360, 3.0 GHz, 2 GB RAM, Wildcat 7110 graphics cards. Dell no longer offers any machines with AGP slots only the new PCI Express slots.
We really like the Wildcat cards but Dell doesn't offer them anymore. Our corporation is married to Dell so there is no other choice.
The new PTC hardware matrix for Dell lists the NVIDIA FX1300 and FX3400 as certified cards for the Precision 370 workstation.
The FX1300 has 128MB as the FX3400 has 256MB. The FX1300 is $450 cheaper than the FX3400.
Has anyone had any experience with either of these cards? Any comments?????
