Hi All
Just when I thought I be winding down for Xmas, I just been given another project.
We are looking at some new machinery in the new year, basically a turn / mill drill setup, and I now got to test if varies machines we are looking at will do our jobs before we commit to purchasing of the machine. Basically I need to develop test programs and run through Vericut simulator.
Now I have done straight turning , or straight milling, I have never done anything like this, so I am a bit lost of how to do this in Creo.
the set up is and X / Z config with a live spindle in the Z axis ram, and using angular drilling heads for drilling, reaming, and tapping
The chuck acts like a normal lathe chuck, but is also a indexable rotay table. It is also running an Funac 15 TA controller
I have operated a large O.M. borer when I was on the tools at another company, so I know how to use this set up.
I just don't have any idea where to start in Creo.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for how to set up the manufacturing side, or sources of online resources
Thank you
Peter
