Using SMP and Implementer

Has any anyone added SMP (Symmetric Multi Processing) to their ISeries and ran SMP during remote promotions that included both SQL table and Index recreations , with PF and LF changes? I am looking for both positive and negative results.

Have you encountered a problem with SMP enabled during a promotion?

I wouldn't expect there to be any problems... IBM i will handle all the technical intricacies under the covers.

Implementer uses standard interfaces when promoting database objects. SQL commands (ALTER TABLE, CREATE INDEX, etc) for SQL objects and CHGPF / CHGLF for PF's & LF's.
