This is a rather strange error, you are logged in as the same person both times?
Hi @PaiChung ,
Yes I am logged in as same person both the times.
Thanks,
Shashi.
@pshashipreetham,make sure you are connecting to the same Thingworx server? What is the error message in Thingworx's application log and error log? You may get more trace information by enabling trace logging refer to https://www.ptc.com/en/support/article/cs227712
Hi, I have verified similar issue before. In that case, the request to delete an Entity is unable to be reach ThingWorx Platform given the current network configuration. Since that the delete can be performed from VM, I think that it is due a network communcation issue in your environment. Please verfiy the network communication in your system (i.g. FireWall, Virus Soft,)

@PaiChung , @knagata ..
Only able to delete the entities if I logged in as Administrator in localhost:8080/Thingworx, then only the entities are getting deleted, if not those are not getting delete. Is there any changes need to be done in the web.xml ?
@slangley @VladimirN ..
Thanks,
Shashi.
If it only works as Administrator and not as other users, then likely you have some permission issues.
the Script/Application log should be showing you the permission errors.
Hi @PaiChung ,
Thanks for the reply, issue is fixed, DELETE was missing from the web.xml. Attached the web.xml in the solution post.
Thanks,
Shashi.
