Custom Chart Widget - Data loading time

Hi,

I use the "custom chart widget" extension from the marketplace in order to build my charts.

But when I want to load a lot of datas (about 2000) the chart takes between 8 and 12 seconds to build but the sevice which populate the chart runs instantly.

So it is a chart problem, I tried to use the vanilla chart but it only load 2 seconds faster.

Do you know a better plugin or something else ?

Hi Jean-Noel DURAND​,

This is a common problem for a bigger set of data and depends not only on the widget itself, but also client's system / browser resources, because rendering requires a lot of resources. One possibility is to create your own widget (e.g. using D3.js library) and optimize the process.
