Custom mashup widget error -"TypeError: $.publish is not a function"

I have created a custom mashup widget and  on imported into Thingworx local platform.  On executing the mashup recieving error "You have included the Google Maps API multiple times on this page. This may cause unexpected errors.$g @ maps.google.com/maps/api/js?sensor=false&_=1469446105201:94 index.html:49918 Uncaught TypeError: $.publish is not a function" . Also unable to access "manage" in extensions of (Import/export menu)

Elamurugu, what does your widget do? Does your user have admin-level privileges?

Thank you for your response .

1.     My widget tries to render an indoor map inside the thingworx mashup using jquery post function(probably a REST webservice call). The REST webservice is also running on the same Tomcat.

2.     Yes,I've logged into my local thingworx platform server as an Administrator only.so,I should definitely have have enough privilages.
