DateTime Storage format in OnPrem Thingworx(version 9.1)

Hi,

I Noticed that bydefault  DateTime stored in UTC format in TWX cloud instance, Even when time is entered in Local time zone(IST). 

will it be same in OnPrem twx instance OR will the DateTime stored in Local time zone(IST).

Hi,

 

If you are referring particularly to Thingworx version 9.1 then yes starting 9.x UTC Timezone is required for new installations or upgrade of ThingWorx to 9.x to ensure consistent timeseries data.

 

New Timezone setting and related data migration scripts have been introduced in ThingWorx Platform 9.

 

If you are setting up your On-premise instance for the first time on 9.x or it is an upgrade to 9, please follow the links shared below to ensure correct Timezone setting:

@VS_9760165 , for 9.x, by default, it is UTC time. See article:
