Distribution?

Hi,

I work for a company that is looking to create multiple front ends for a wide range of monitoring systems, we know that Thingworx is compatible with the hardware we are employing however we are unsure regarding the distribution of the finished products. Does Thingworx support a developer creating an application and then selling that application? And if so how does this work? What are the restrictions etc. Not been able to find any information regarding this so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Alastair

You may contact the licensing department through https://www.thingworx.com/about/contact-us/

Briefly, you should need a license for your thingworx server, but if your end user only accesses the composer/web - they do not need additional licensing. If they need root/harddrive access to the application, then the license is needed on their end as well.
