Does Thingworx support digital certification based authentication of gateway devices ?

I wanted to understand when my gateway pumps in sensor datas to platform , is there any functionality deployed at Thingworx platform , which  authenticates and authrorize device using X509 or any other digital signed certificates like .pem extension files .

I am aware that, application key generated is used to connect the gateway device to platform. I am looking for other options to stream datas in secure manner to plaform.

Suraj, with a secure platform, you can establish a connection over https (ssl). Are you using the EMS or one of the SDKs to connect?
