Error with mail extension

The following error occurred when I tried to send mail after importing the mail extension.

"ErrorCode(e3b535d0-bf6e-492e-9e77-82341638c656), Cause(null), Reason(Access was attempted on a null reference variable.), Possible Resolutions(Remove the reference to the null variable within your extension code.)"

After SendMessage service is selected, "Cannot call mail service: NULL" is displayed in the right output box.

1. What is the version of your Thingworx?
2. Do you download the Email Extension from PTC Software Download page or from other resources?
3. Do you double check if the configurations of the Mail Thing are correct?
4. If you execute the SendMessage service from the Mail Thing directly, what is the error you get? You can check the Application Log and Error log from <ThingworxStorage>/logs to get more information
