Google Marker icon is changing on click

Hi,

   I am looking for a functionality like when I click the any marker in the google maps it should remains the same. But now when I click on any marker it is converting to some other icon which is assigned in selectedmarkerstyle. When I removed the selection by default it is showing the red mark icon. 

How to resolve this.

You could change the SelectedMarkerStyle to the DefaultMapMarkerStyle - or whichever style you are using for the MarkerStyle - to show exactly the same icon for selected and non-selected markers.

With this the selection changes, but not the image.

It should stay the same even after changing the selection - or deselecting.
