In Mashup, We are having multiple collection widget. Customer want to drag and drop one tile from first collection to any other collection present in same mashup. How to achieve this.
Solved! Go to Solution.
Connection widiget does not supply drag/drop tiles.
User should achieve this by backgroud services which remove tile data for source collection and add tile data for target collection .

But Customer wanted to see drag and drop functionality. Does this possible in any other widget in recent version of thingworx ?
Hello @AP_10343008 ,
I have not seem the Drag/Drop option. You can do Select a cell and press a button to move.

This Thingworx Extension have Drag and Drop Functionality.
https://github.com/BogdanMihaiciuc/BMCollectionView
Will it be compatible for 9.6 Thingworx Version. Any cons in using this ?
You will have to ask the author on github. It's not a PTC supported widget.
Okay

Maybe this is a late reply. The out of the box collection is the old version of the widget you just linked. The author(Bogdan) gave it to R&D, who continued maintaining it. After that Bogdan forked this version(BMCollectionView) and added new features and bug fixes since. You'll find that it has changed and has more features, including a configuration popup. I'd say the github one is one of the most stable widgets you'll find. We use it in every project for just about anything that has repeating data. Now, a reminder that it is a complex widget and to understand it fully might take some time. Documentation is included in the configuration popup for every property. I'm not sure if every property is included in the configuration popup, as I asked him to add different features over time which did not make it the popup. But yes, it will allow you do do the drag and drop thing. You can do the move(from one collection to the other) or copy. Drag outside to delete. Quite a lot of nice modern interactions.
Good luck!
