Make Thingworx accessible in Domain

Hello Everyone,

I have Thingworx freshyl installed on a Server. Now I would like to access the Composer from a different machine in the network (http://serverip:8080/Thingworx/Composer)

What do I need to do? I have not installed the SSL option for thingworx.

When deactivating the firewall on the server for domain networks, I am able to get to the login Prompt from my PC.
But it says, "the connection is not safe" and I can not login:

Any Idea how to access the composer withouth ssl in my network?

Best Regards,

Dominik

Hi,

If you have Thingworx on Windows, don't disable all firewall, just allow traffic for 8080 port. You need to enter in Firewall and add rules for 8080 port.

After this, you will be able to access Thingworx from outside your server.

If possible, please discuss the issue with an IT Network Administrator, it depends a lot what policies you have in your domain.

Thanks,
