Migrate Entites From a Older Version to Newer Version of SCPA.

I’m planning to upgrade to a newer version of SCPA and need to migrate all my entities with the SCPA configuration. Can someone assist with the steps or provide best practices for the migration process?

To upgrade to a new version of SCPA, follow these steps:

  1. Export Existing Entities:
Export all entities created with the current configuration.

  2. Import and Update Configuration:
Import the configuration into the new version.

    • Review and update any changes needed, as module names may differ in the new version.
    • New modules might also be added to streamline tasks.
  3. Test the Platform:
Verify that the platform functions as expected.

    • If you encounter issues, check for missing configurations related to the affected entities or things and fix them accordingly.
  4. Complete the Upgrade:
Once everything is working as expected, the upgrade is complete.
