Hi,
I'm having a problem importing the Analytics Extension.
I'm working with the 9.0.0 version of ThingWorx docker. I already have the Analytics docker server running, my only problem its when I try to import the extension to the platform.
The only error that I get on the platform logs and in the ErrorLogs its: "Extension Exception: Extension package import failed. See error log for more details"
Hello @GJ_10078600 ,
Are you using the correct extensions for your version of ThingWorx Analytics?
What does the ThingWorx Platform Server Application or Error logs say?
Did you add the Extension policy to your ThingWorx Platform platform-settings.json?
Details for this can be found on our HelpCenter here: HelpCenter Topic - ThingWorx Analytics Import the Extensions
Regards,
Neel
Hi @nsampat,
Yes i'm using the correct version of the extension for my ThingWorx Analytics.
The only error that I get its this one in the AplicationLog.
And when i open the ErrorLog I see the same message.
The problem its that the application don't give me a more detailed error, this is the only error that i get.
Yes, I already have everything set to true as the documentation says.
Here is the file.
The error its "Extension Exception: Extension package import failed. See error log for more detail" when i try to import.
As this appears to be an issue with ThingWorx Platform Server, I will reach out to that team to have someone review.
Regards,
Neel
I spoke with a ThingWorx TSE, and they believe that your platform-settings.json may not formatted for the ExtensionPolicy Correctly.
Can you please Direct Private Message me your platform-settings.json file.
If you are able, please re-review the location you placed the policy, as its location does matter.
In particular the Extension Policy should be nested within PlatformSettingsConfig. If you do make a change, a restart of Tomcat is required.

Neel
Thank you for providing the config file in private message.
Can you confirm the name of the package you are importing?
The package that contains the extensions has an archive within it, and you would need to import only the highlight item in my screenshot below, not the MED-61215-xxx archive:
