 Hi,

There was a similar question before - "504 Gateway Time-out for Copy Service of "Subsystem: FileTransferSubsystem" when metadata provided": https://community.ptc.com/t5/ThingWorx-Developers/504-Gateway-Time-out-for-Copy-Service-of-quot-Subsystem/td-p/665221

Hi @SMaran,

Not sure if it's related but please make sure the Tomcat service owner has sufficient read/write permission to access the Tomcat installation and ThingWorx installation folders.

TonyZang - We restarted the services with the correct Tomcat service owner and it did not resolve the issue.

Please share if you come cross any other thoughts.

Appreciate your time and expertise!

Thanks

Shan

Hi @SMaran,

Sorry that didn't work.

I'd suggest you to raise a support case for this issue.

Below information can be helpful for further troubleshooting.

1) What user account can reproduce this issue? Can Administrator user reproduce the same?

2) Detailed replication steps - which entities' permissions buttons did you click? Can you reproduce with every Permissions button? Try clicking other buttons to see if trigger the same popup

3) Use Function key F12 to open up Browser Developer tool; with Dev tool opening reproduce the issue to see if any errors logged in console tab or network tab

4) Please provide ThingWorx application logs, tomcat logs

Thanks,

Tony
