The style and state definitions are removed while Migrating/importing from one server to another

Need a Solution for Migrating/importing from one server to another can cause style and state definition to be removed. Is there another reason for why this is happening when importing state and style definitions?

What version of ThingWorx are you running?  If you're on 8.5 or above, have you considered using Solution Central for deploying between servers, though it would depend on your use case.
