I installed ThingWorx 9.7 using the installer (ThingWorxFoundationPostgres-9.7.0-x64.exe).
However, the uninstaller (ThingWorxFoundation_uninstall.exe) does not exist in the installation folder.
Instead, there is a file named ThingWorxFoundation_uninstall.dat.
This does not work in a Windows environment. I believe it might be an uninstaller for Linux.
Could you please let me know how to uninstall ThingWorx 9.7
Hi @MK_10869851 ,
As i can check, I have ThingWorx 9.6 installed using installer and in my installation folder there exists both the files ( ThingWorxFoundation_uninstall.dat. and ThingWorxFoundation_uninstall.exe). Could you pls share the screenshot of the same folder?
Regards,
Bhawna
Dear Bhawna,
Thank you for your confirmation and communication.
When using v9.5, ThingWorxFoundation_uninstall.exe was present.
(I wasn’t aware of ThingWorxFoundation_uninstall.dat, so I’m not sure about it.)
For v9.7, it seems that only ThingWorxFoundation_uninstall.dat is available.
I have attached a screenshot for your reference.
Best regards,
Hi @MK_10869851,
I would open a Tech Support ticket for this, especially if you can reproduce this behavior (I'm saying this because I also installed ThingWorx 9.7 with the same installer, but I do have the uninstall.exe file in there.)
Thank you for confirming. I will proceed to open a technical support ticket.
Best regards,
Hi @MK_10869851
We'll need to test for this scenario, but I have a number of questions:
