Transfer property data from composer to TW Analytics

Hi,

I want to transfer the data of my things properties from the ThingWorx composer to ThingWorx Analytics. In tutorials about thingworx analytics they always use excel files but I could find very little information about the process of transforming the data into such a file. 

I know that the data has to be in csv format and that I need metadata but how can I transform my data from the composer to this format? 

Or can you recommend any tutorials?
