Unable to Invoke Service SendMessage on ACMEVendingNotifier

Going through the Thingworx training (Part 4). Predefined Thing Templates, creating a Notification thing.

When i test my Notification thing, i'm getting the following error.

I'm using SMTP.gmail.com on port 465. My TLS setting is unchecked and SSL is checked.

Google has a security setting that blocks remote invokes like the one through Thingworx.

You can go into the google account and lower that setting.

That might be the cause here.

http://www.google.com/settings/security/lesssecureapps

enable it and then test again.

Hi, I'm having the same problem and I did what you said but I still get the message

Unable to Invoke Service SendMessage on ACMEVendingNotifier : null

Is there anything else you do?

Sorry, I restarted ThingWorx and it worked
