Hello,

I'm having trouble resuming TWX 9.3. While running, I couldn't save changes to mashups. The message was (unfortunately I don't have Application Logs anymore) that I can't save changes to the database.

I restarted Tomcat and can't open ThingWorx again.

How to deal with this bug?

I found solution. Database server had set up properties 'no count' = true. It removed update permissions.

I want to add first error message 'Unable to update mashup: [1.018] Data store unknown error: [Error occurred while accessing the model provider.' Why it appears?

It seems that perhaps TWX is unable to properly connect to the persistent provider?

Maybe a database corruption?

I checked the database and it worked without any problem from SQL Server Management Studio. The ThingWorx platform is working without any problems today it was unable to assign administrator rights to the group. Does this happen often in ThingWorx 9.3? I uninstalled 9.3, installed 9.1 but I still get an error about the problem with saving changes when editing Mashups.

After investigation I saw i can create mashup/thing I can delete it but I cannot update it... Have you ever meet this issues?

You are basically having some permissions issue, not too sure though how you would fix it.

But your user seems to have 'Create' 'Modify' rights but not 'Full' as the creator or 'Delete'

Since it gave you that strange initial error, even assigning Delete permission to your user/user group might not fix that issue.

Hi @JK_10565232.

One thing I noticed from your screenshot is that you're running on Windows Server 2022. The version of the O/S supported for ThingWorx 9.3 is Windows Server 2019. The latest version of SQL Server supported is MS SQL Server 2019. By not adhering to the requirements, you may experience unexpected issues with ThingWorx.

You didn't indicate the full release of ThingWorx you're running, but here is a link to the Server Requirements for ThingWorx 9.3.7--the latest release available.
