passing datepicker value to string input in service

Iam using same thingworx version 9.2.3-b189 in two different servers. In one server iam able to pass datepicker data to string input in service and iam getting proper output. But in another server, the output is undefined. why??

Are you running a different browser?  Are you able to bring them up side-by-side in debug mode?
