Supporting influx tags, not just influx fields, is important for our use case too.  Does the new ThingWorx v9 support Influx tags directly as a persistence provider or do we still need to rely on the separate influx api?

Hi @twtclark.

We don't currently support tags, but expect to be providing some enhancements around InfluxDB in a future release.  If you can provide the specifics of your use case, we will pass it along to R&D for their consideration in the upcoming changes.

Regards.

Similar need as the original post. We want to keep frequent time series data and then associate specific time ranges of that data with a unique part#/lot identifier as a tag for quick retrieval. It's really a nice feature of influx that got missed in Thingworx.
Thanks

Hi @twtclark.

R&D advised that InfluxDB is pretty high on our roadmap.  No specifics yet, but stay tuned.

Regards.
